I’ve tried the iSkin eVo (like it but don’t like the gooey sticky feel), the Speck iPod Skin (better than the eVo, but no screen protection or belt clip), and the RedTech PodSleevz (best of them all so far, but flimsy crinkly screen cover and a bitch to dock). Has anyone out there got some good suggestions on a protective case for my iPod?

I really like the XTreme Mac Xtremity case ( http://www.xtrememac.com/foripod/xtremity.shtml ). At MacWorld, I watched the demo man smash a running iPod, which wore the Xtremity case, screen-first into the corner of a table several times! I’m sold!

The flood of responses to this question is underwhelming. Thanks MacManX for your submission. I may live to regret what I’m about to say but I’m more concerned with protecting the iPod against scuffs than actual physical trauma. I would like the iPod to be easily dockable without removing it from the case entirely and I would like the case to be made out of something a bit nicer than metal, hard plastic or silicone. Leather would be nice…even neoprene…soft plastic would even be okay, but it all has to work.

Until I find it, I’m sticking with the PodSleevz.

I would suggest grabbing the latest issue of MacWorld. It has an iPod case round-up inside.
