Postponed Puppy

I had originally planned to adopt my pup on the 17th, but after learning about how bad puppy separation anxiety can be, I have asked the breeder if it would be okay to push the pick-up date to the 24th. This will allow me to be home with the pup for at least a week before I have to leave her alone to go to work. As much as I’d like to have the puppy right now, I just don’t think it would be fair or healthy for her to be suddenly so alone after having being with 20+ dogs and 4+ humans every day of her life up until I adopt her.

I know no one really cares, but, what the hell, this is my blog.
