The G-2 has more ink flow and writes darker with much smudging. The Monte Blanc's ink is a bit more translucent and flows very smoothly but also much less liberally. I really don't think the Monte Blanc is so much about rollerball variety anyway. Does anyone know a cheap pen that accepts Monte Blanc Ballpoint refills?
