Ages ago, my buddy Bill and I were bouncing ideas around about the weird things I could do in my bathroom…hmmm…maybe I should explain… I was developing a “science lab” theme for my bathroom and had already bought some flasks and beakers for my mouthwash and things and Bill and I were brainstorming on what else I could do.
I didn’t want to just have a bar of soap in the midst of a big chemistry set–I wanted something that said “Mad Scientist”
So somehow we came up with the idea of having a jar with an alien fetus in it–like the one Scully finds in that episode of The X-Files. So I sculpted the alien baby and got a suitable container, but that’s where the idea just hibernated for the last year or more.
Then this past weekend, I got things together and finished it. The pics are on Flickr.
What do you think? Is it too disturbing? Would you have a problem rubbing soap on your hands that looks as though it was pumped from an alien specimen jar? Am I the only one who thinks this is totally gross and yet totally cool at the same time?

Pretty Cool, the ailen baby is a little creepy I would have done a brain or something, But it’s still really cool
